On Saturday June 12th  and Sunday June 13th  2021, Children's Cultural Center Belgrade executed  Artist -trainers exchange Workshop part 2. The workshop was led by the project expert artist trainer Mrs Theodora Munteanu, the ballet soloist of Comic Opera for Children from Bucharest – Romania. 

The workshop was executed with the clear goal of encouraging participants to envision their presentations at the YTOM Impro Day. The workshop was executed as a part of International festival of children drama play GLUMIJADA, the large scale theatre and children drama pedagogy festival which also includes Young Theatre on the Move IMPRO DAY SERBIA as it's one of the priority programs.  The workshop suggested to the participants possible ways of using the newly gained audience development knowledge and translating it into a performance format. The participants had the opportunity to practically test desired formats and games and receive feedback from the whole artist-trainer team. The workshop was attended by professionals from Children's Cultural Center Belgrade and pedagogues from other organizations working with children and youth, together with the project and festival team members. Since Mrs. Munteanu is a distinguished ballet performer but also pedagogue in “Micul Artisti” Ballet Studio of Comic Opera for Children – Bucharest, the host took great opportunity to invite the members of oldest performing group of CCCB Ballet Studio to experience the possibility to work with the true excellent expert of the world class. The workshop had a complexed agenda since it was a part of the Festival as well as the IMPRO DAY SERBIA. The first working process session took place as a preparatory workshop for the IMPRO DAY, which followed on the same day. The second working process session that took part on Sunday gave the opportunity to the participant to upgrade their performing arts knowledge on the higher scale, including the further exploration of creative movement, given to them by the expert trainer.
Since the workshop date coincided with the execution of the IMPRO DAY SERBIA event, the host also took the opportunity to ask the guest artist trainer to be the guest of honor, additional member of the jury and the expert spokesperson on the all of three event sessions.

Being a part of the festival and having the opportunity to see such young and talented students performing impro theatre and movement based moments, was indeed a pleasure. Once again, it is a good reminder that doing art and creative movement, as well as impro theatre is a great way of developing children’s personalities, help them gain important experiences, skills and be the best version they can be.
