Project activity IMPRO DAY SERBIA 2021 was executed on Saturday June 12th 2021 in Children’s Cultural Center Belgrade. The event was attended by 14 children's and youth drama groups from several cities in Serbia. IMPRO DAY SERBIA was structured as a three session event: first session included the performances of five artistic groups, the second session included the performances of six groups and the third session included the performances of three groups. The sessions lasted for 90 or more minutes and all of them gave the enough time and space for the performers to present the acts they have prepared. Very known situation related to the pandemic restricted the number of participants and audience regarding the capacity of the venue, but still every performance had a significant number of audience which gave performers the opportunity to receive the feedback. Also, all of the performances was supervised by the expert jury, consisting of the artist trainers of Serbian YTOM team and the guest expert trainer from Romanian YTOM team, Mrs Theodora Munteanu. All three sessions included Serbian team project manager as the presenter and event host. All programs of IMPRO DAY SERBIA are photographed and recorded. The event had certain media coverage. All financial obligations were or will be regulated according to the budget guidelines of the project and other valid instructions from the lead partner.

Finally, we had a chance to enjoy playing „Young theatre on the move” games with kids! It was inspiring and a pleasure to host a visiting artist trainer, Miss Teodora from Romania. Great energy, ideas and lots of authentic expressions. A lot of spontaneity, the joy of playing and getting to know yourself and others! Very successful and fulfilling weekend behind us.

The impro day which was part of the Glumijada Festival was full of energy and camaraderie. Following lockdowns it seemed somehow surreal to be together with crowds of people, laughing and sharing their experiences, but what a relief and a joy!

I think this year's festival and the improvisation work was even better organised than previously and each facilitator showed confidence and clarity on their messages and working methods.

I, for one, came away from the day with a new found energy and I believe I am not the only one!
I look forward to the next parts of the project with enthusiasm.

The strongest impression of our day of improvisation are the meetings. When you hug a friend who arrived from Romania and you don't let her go, she doesn't let you go either. It seems completely unreal. After a year or more, we share the joys of our project with other pedagogues and with children ... not like ten or something but a room full of children.
Joy and meeting are my strongest impressions from the past event.

Impro day, a long and unforgettable fun day. It was a pleasure to work with people again and watch their satisfied faces. Having a guest (Teodora) is a total refreshment, after a year and a few days of drawing our own energy, there was hope and why we are working on the project at all.

Although at the end of the day I felt as if I had been run over by a tractor (physically), the pleasure of working again (live) restored my mental energy to continue and new ideas for a new beginning.
